SAEFL CUP FINAL

In last weeks press release, Bart wanted everyone to believe that Jazz Greats would not play WP. Now I don’t know if anyone believed him, as everyone who has been paying any attention knew that JG only have 1 strong tactics, which is WP. And when it comes to playing the cup final, the most important match of the season, you always play your strongest tactics of course. That is what Terry did. Terry knows that ONE is strongest tactics for InterQuartile Rangers, and that’s what he played. If he paid any attention to what Bart wrote (who of course played WP after all), I don’t know. What I do know, is that it didn’t matter. Bart might have been afraid of IQ playing OFF against his WP, because we all know that IQ has a rather strong team. But IQ did not search for anti-tactics, so we saw 2 teams playing their favorite play. And the result was a knock-out for JG and the glory for IQ. IQ was simply better, they had the better NSL, the better EMP, and thus more chances, 44 against 39. The fact that IQ also had the better GK, made that this win was even bigger than it should have, as a reflection of the game. However, although the difference wasn’t that very big (just a little over 3.5 EMP), this game had IQ written all over it, and the win for IQ is deserved. So, Terry: congratulations on your first prize, you really deserved it, as you have shown to be a great manager, and you’ve shown that in just a short period of time, so who knows what will happen in the near future. Bart will be disappointed, I know that he thought to have a good chance in this game, but it turned out to be that he had to hope for a red card for IQ to be the better team. And that didn’t happen. Still, with these wonderful attackers, JG schould obtain some top defenders to win prizes next season. Or else rebuild, if aging is hard on them. Nonetheless: congratulations on a great season. Loosing the final must hurt, but it also means that you have manged to come this far, and that is a beautiful performance Bart. (Oops! Did I just say beautiful and Bart in one sentence?)
