Wow! Amazing 2 wins over AA. The first one, in the league, was definitely lucky, but everyone needs that some times... On the cup, just like said in the commentaries, we were fortunate to play the boost and secure a smoother shot converted by Fuzue. On his 8th appearance he scored his second goal and what an important goal. This lead will help us to defend this advantage on the 2nd leg in 2 weeks!

On the league, it's time to face a powerful TH, that secured a nice cup win and could still bother DL or JG  on the league. It's time to pack everyone behind and hope for some counter attacks! (Just like they will do, hehe)

t least this game wasn't boring!  One advantage to mid-season aging is that you never know how it will affect a team.  Plus you get to play the same team back-to-back.  After seeing a defensive posture didn't work I had to try something.  Soooo, we go full bore, loaded for bear, and toss a grudge into the mix.  As it turns out, we not have needed the grudge, but you never know.  I think we got some help from Ruathain.  He only stopped one of seven shots!  Not that stopping half of them would have changed anything since they didn't take any shots from their bunker.

Still, it makes for some impressive stats.  3 players shooting 100%!

Basically, it ends up being an ambush.  We may pay for it this week since I doubt TB is going to rest after last week's thrashing of the Greats.

No easy games, and with a small selection of players i must be keen on the fitness of the players. In the first time of the season I missed The Future three important games due to injury.

Division 2 team looking for GK coach!

Dear mr. Ferguson,

I've recently watched some Manchester United games and it become obvious to me you need a new challege. Your recent decisions including the selling of Ruud van Nistelrooij, your constant protection of that intellectually challenged criminal Wayne R. and your childish bickering with fellow managers are basically incomprehensible. Clearly all those years of high tension have caught up with you and you have lost it.

Of course this doesn't mean all those years of soccer expierence should go to waste! I have the most perfect solution! A division 2 team that we cannot name at this point need a new GK coach. Since it is basically a no class, no talent and no real management kind of club you would fit perfectly there. To be frank about it, it's the most fitting club available for you.

I'll be sure to negotiate a good deal for you. I also assure you the current head coach will be no problem. He's extremely gullible and as long as you feed him stories and beer i'm sure you will get along. Basically all you have to do is to stand between the current manager D.F., his current goalkeers and the shotgun this manager is holding. No problem at all!

As an added bonus i'm sure this career move will rid you of that nasty stalker you told me about, Peter B.

To conclude, i sincerely hope you will accept this offer and do all of us soccerfans a big favour! You can reach me at:

Well, we are still in first place, which is good, but who knows what will happen this week.  Last week, we barely got by with the win but we pulled it off with the lone goal.  It was a pretty good game but would have been better for us without the red card.  We play DS this week and are playing a boost to try and help us.  Hopefully, this will be enough and we will be able to win so we can stay in first place.  We are resting some players too because of low stamina so that is another thing working against us.

DIVISION 3

Adelaide Kickers

SB:  So what happened last week?

DT:  FA must've known we'd be coming out firing last week after losing to them the week before and adjusted their team and tactics accordingly.

SB:  This week sees the Kickers play against AV.  Any surprises in store?

DT:  Yes.  Hopefully we will win. <laughs>  Actually no.  We will go in with a virtually unchanged lineup with the exception of a CF replacing DS O'fire who got sent off last week.

SB:  The game last week was close.  Did O'fire's sending off  cost you the game?

DT:  Quite possibly.  The sending off happened early enough that it could have made a difference to the result but I am not blaming the loss on just one sending off.

SB:  What do you blame the result on?

DT:  I might come under fire from the league for this but the loss was caused by that blind idiot in green awarding FA with free kicks just outside the box that weren't there and deciding to completely ignore the blatant penalties down the other end.

SB: Any parting words before I let you go?

DT:  Just for all the fans to get to the game and cheer the team on.  Let's make Kicker field a fortress against which other teams fear to come.

SB:  Thanks for you time David.

Congratulations to Len for winning the Canada Cup for this season!!!

Well Done!!!

Now we have to focus on securing a playoff spot.

We have a tough match this week as Vitesse Arnhem visit Liberation Park to take on the Selects.

We will be resting some of our top playes as they have had some tough work lately.

"It is going to be an interesting week for SH. Manager Lear has decided to use a different tactic this week because some of the main SH players are tired and need a break. However, with the talent at SH that has been sitting on the bench for most of the season, this is a good opportunity in the schedule for them to play. It will be lucky for SH to get a point in this match because of the change in tactics but you never know."

SH is willing to deal J. Torres  S 9.50 - 29 in exchange for a GK of equivalent value or a package of younger good players of any position.

Let's talk deal.
