Huge loss on the cup? Can we turn things?
On the league a
good win, and now relegation chances are really
remote!

That was a wild and crazy game! Almost everyone on the team scored at least
one goal. Of course, all of Vince's
midfielders and forwards scored too. If
only real soccer had games like this!

With 4 matches left things do not look good for the
club. The mood in training has been very
down this week as the boys sit 3 points into the relegation zone with 4 matches
to play. "We will do what we
can"
said GK C. Kariba. "We are giving our all and that is all
we can do."
The question is
will it be enough.

The fight for the title is uncommonly exciting in
division 1 this season.
Surprise candidate DL is hardly losing any points and
with my loss last week the difference is back to 1 point. With four diffecult matches coming up,
This week we play a diffecult
match against this seasons surprise team TJ.
Let's hope for three points.
On a more personal note: Martijn!
Stop dating the friggin RNG. You know you'll dump her
when you got what you wanted. It's embarrassing!!

Press (AP): A good week for AR and your run at promotion.
Manager
Fulmer (MF): Indeed, indeed. A win for AR, plus the other top teams play each
other and take points away. The LU-EW draw puts us 5 points ahead of LU and 9
up on EW, and DT lose to PN to fall 10 back. Since we
don't any of the other top teams we should, and I say should be difficult for
LU to catch.
AP: PN
keeps hanging in there, only 2 points back.
MF: Yes,
I've noticed :) I thought PN would be
about the fourth or fifth best team in Div 2 this season and they are in
second, only 2 points back, so obviously Kelly has done a very good job. PN has
matches with LU and EW the last 2 weeks of the season, so they have their work
cut out for them, but they could very well be up to the task.
AP: If PN
and AR get promoted, that would 2 teams with American managers moving to
Division 1 for a total of 3.
MF: Awesome
math, I'm really impressed. I also like the idea. It would be great to see
Kelly and I join Terry in Division and try to break the lock the Dutch seem to
be forming on the Division and the league title. Maybe we could get our English
friends to join us and we could really have a go.

We got a very important win last week over DT. They did not play any cards against us, so
the game was not as tough as it could have been, and we got the three points,
which is the important part. Currently
in the standings we are in second place and only two points behind the leader,
AR. They will probably win all of their
remaining games but if they do slip, we would take over first place. This is an important reason that we need to
win but an even more important reason is because LU is only three points behind
us, with EW and DT close behind them.
This means that if we tie or lose any of our remaining games, we will
likely get knocked out of second place.
With that being said, we play FU this week and, even though they are in
seventh place, we really need to win. We
are playing a boost to, hopefully, ensure the full three points. Some of our remaining games are going to be
tough so we need to get points where we can.

"Last week saw the Selects demolish
the last place Falcons 12 - 1. They outshot them 33 -
9. Brilliant defense and goalkeeping! This week the
Selects host the BS team currently sitting in 10th position. Hopefully a win in
this match will help to lock up a playoff position for the Selects. The race
for the last three playoff spots is extremely tight with 6 teams in the
running."

Our first weeks management orders were placed with high hope of
improving our teams position in division 3.
After
seeing massive scorelines more akin to australian football, I was looking
forward to a glut of goals and all I got was the atkins
diet.
I don't
know if it was a case of poor managemnet from my part
or good management to keep the scorline down!
Who knows , who cares?
