It's been quite some time since the last time we played WH and hopefully it will be a nice rescue of our roots. The signing of MF Gino and the presence of 2 very nice WH allowed us to do so. However, the usage of WH is under high risk, since it will be played in a critical and very tough home game against AA, one of the strongest title contenders. Depending on red cards and opposition tactics, we will player over 140 EMP which might prove not to be enough, especially if AA plays a boost or, even worse, a grudge.

Bad luck has been a major issue since the beginning of the season, as presented by the match commentator last week... and things are not really getting better as we were drawn against the same strong AA in the cup. BAD LUCK, GET OUT!

InterQuartile Rangers

Last week's game was interesting.  Yes, Vince got a red card, but let's face it.  It was on a MF on a team playing WP.  Even early on that doesn't have a big impact.  Although considering it was a 1 point game, maybe it did?  Still, in another game a team with a defensive posture had 10 points fewer attacking EMP than their opponent and still managed 2 goals!  And poor PN.  With everything else going on they get 2 reds in one game.  I guess the bright side their is that they were playing DL and were going to lose anyway (not knocking PN, DL is just that good- read on to see what I consider my chances).

We get to play the powerful top seed.  I don't have any defense strong enough so we go with our strength to minimize the GD, we hope!  The good news is that this gives me a week to think things through.  Yeah, the cup is tempting, but we're fourth in the league.  I probably need to committ one way or the other.  I guess we find out next week.  Or maybe the week after that.

No big surprise, we lost last week, but we lost pretty bad, though that was mostly due to the two early red cards, so we only had 80-some NSL.

Regardless, we play NW this week, so it is more likely we will be able to get some points.  Because of this, we are actually playing a good team.

With that being said, it is still not that good of a team, so we may lose anyway.  Hopefully, we will win, and pick up some points.

The Boelewieten

DL keeps winning and we have already a gap to fill, 5 points difference. Today against LU, CP playing, ZD sometimes. In another league the manager had some experience with BC, maybe that this tactic will also kill here LU CP aspiraton. Playing ZD gives a risk of a draw, and we want again three points this week.

After an unlucky match against EU, the Selects continue their homestand as VA make their visit to Liberation Park for the season.

We played a great game last week, but unfortunately, the one shot made it past the keeper and that was all that was needed.

Let's hope we do better this week against the current holder of the basement key.

Up against a very dominant TS and away from home too... so we'll give up our unbeaten run and try to reduce the damage as it may come down to goal difference at the end of the season....
