PRESS REPORT

Adirondak Renegades

. Adirondak Press (AP): Back into the swing of things. You should be well rested.

Manager Fulmer (MF): I'm getting old, I'm never well rested.

AP: I meant your team.

MF: Their young and party a lot. They are never rested either.

AP: Well, anyway. Is it good to be back?

MF: Sure, if you don't care about winning. We just played TB, now play DL and IQ. It will be an ugly stretch.

AP: Welcome to Division 1!

MF: Yes indeed.

AP: After those matches you play CA. Any comments.

MF: Oh yea, we will be ready for that one. It may even be important since we are both fighting relegation. I'm also already looking forward to the last match of the season against JG. I plan on ending the season on a very strong note. Bart got me the first week of the season, right before he traded his good players, and I owe him big time.

If we want to challenge TB for the title we cant afford a single mistake. Let's try to keep the dream alive this week, fielding a defensive side that should stop PN and still generate some shots!

InterQuartile Rangers

A win is a win.  Only 1 point, but it's enough.  It also gives us a chance to brag about shooting 100% from the field!  This is kinda

a pointless season.  I got dumped out of the cup on 2 fluke games.  I'm not really positioned to make a run for the league.  Soo...

Don't know what I'm going to do yet.

Last week's game did not go well for us.  There is always the possibility of losing, but when you play essentially your top string, you don't expect to lose by ten goals.  But, alas, that is precisely what we did.  Without the early red card, the game would have at least been closer (though we probably still would have lost).  Either way, the game was a moral defeat for our team, as now we are tied for last place.  Though we have basically been in the relegation zone for most of the season, I am pretty sure that this is the first week where we are actually in last place when you look at the table.  Also, that game was bad for us because in addition to the red card, we also picked up 3 (3!) yellow cards, so both Ericcson and Souza got suspended for this week.  The reason why this is a big deal this week is because it is also a cup game week, and by some miracle we are still in the cup.  So that means our WP is deeply wounded, and we play BS (a division 3 team, but as bad as PN is this season, that probably doesn't mean much), who will probably play OFF against us.  If they did play OFF on our already hurt WP team, we would probably lose by more than ten goals.  Which is why we are doing something different.  PN is playing a defensive tactic.  Surprise!  So hopefully it will work out for us.  If BS does play OFF, we should be able to scrape out of the game with a narrow win, or at least a tie, and then we will look towards the following cup game.  Also we are playing a boost to hopefully ensure us some kind of result, or at least a close game.

With all of that being said, the league game this week for us is a much lower priority.  Not only are we in last place in Division 1, but we are playing the second place team.  This means that there is only a slim chance for victory from the getgo, so we are just going to take this week to rest some of our players and focus on the cup.  We will more than likely lose, and probably badly at that, but that is what we are expecting, so oh well.

The Boelewieten

Quarterfinal and TB lost quality last aging. I hope to make a few trades soon. AP is a tough opponent, 4th place in the second league, WP playing sice and I think CP must be a fine answer to this tactic.

Fighting for cup and for the league, Nathn is fighting for the cup, but, AA is also an Angstgegner, so I will play my best team, saving a boost and the grudges for the end of the season.
