CUP SIMI FINALS

This is what you call a spirited match! Three yellow cards for PN and one red card for BS. I guess these players knew that the cup was their big chance at glory. PN resides at the bottom of div 1 and BS resides at the bottom of div 3. So Cup glory must be very important for these teams. Despite that fact neither of these teams played a boost or a grudge. Maybe at the return leg? Both teams opted for a defensive tactic and BS whas somewhat unlucky with their early red card. Nevertheless PN was stronger anyway so the victory was deserved. The 2-0 win however is not a lead that's comfortable enough to sit back and relax. Certainly not when the grudges come out!

SAEFL Season 13 WEEK 16

TB is a team that is doing exceptionally well. They occupy the top spot in div 1 and they are still in the cup. The team seems even strong enough to go for the magical double. Two prizes in one season! AP however is not to be underestimated. They are in the top four of div 2 and they can field a really strong WP team as they show in this match. Looking at these figures the 17-12 victory for TB seemed like a fair representation of their quality. But at a closer look one can see this match was actually very very close! Less than one emp seperated these two teams and TB was the the home team! I guess in the end it was the difference in GK's that decided this match. Jeroen will be happy with this result but again can't lay back and relax. Imagine this same match, but now with AP as the home team and playing a grudge.. This makes for an exciting return match!

SAEFL Season 13 WEEK 16

This was one of the all Div1 matches and a game between AA and LU will always be a low scoring game as both teams love to defend and score on the counter attack. Of you look back over history you would expect LU to advace as AA has never been a cup team and have always dropped out early, I dont think Nathan and AA have ever got this far in the cup, As expected it was a tight game not shots on goals LU did suffer an injure to a star defender, the Next round at the Pub is going to be a great games will we see any cards ??

SAEFL Season 13 WEEK 16

OC are sitting at the bottom of Div2 and DS are sitting in the middle of div3 so you would expect a very tight game but that was not the case the DS manager gave hie team a talking to and managed to get 110% out of them and with the extra 5% boost for player a team in a better division thats all they needed to hammer OC 7 - 0. Keith and his OC have a huge mountian to climb in the second leg - but nothing is impossable in this league
