Wambach had been expressing her displeasure at not beeing fully integrated into midfield oriented Rangers.  This was obvious that her backup was creating nearly as many chances and scoring nearly as many goals.  So we hope her departure to the very attack oriented PN side will make her happy.  In exchange we welcome midfielder Armpit who is making an immediate contribution with the strongest CP I've ever fielded.  But is it enough?  We also welcome promising FB Burch.  He's a little young yet, but should make a major contribution as early as late this season.

TB won the game against JG, but after the game I still had the feeling that Bart had pulled me a leg ;-) . In his press he stated "as much as i like to annoy him i just can't field a team that has any chance at hurting him" . Thks Bart, it just costed TB a boost.

Two new young players from the transferlist this week, 1,2 million spend. An AS and a MF position, hopefully gifted with some nice stats and playing a important role in the seasons yet to come. Gives a bit air to the management. It is also giving TB an option to compete a bit in the SAEFL cup. SH is our opponent in week 5 and I am pretty sure that SH has plans going back to div 1. Have they enough power to play a important role in the CUP. Whatch and see, TBis playing second line, still going for a victory, hoping the guys stay away from any red cards.

Another good result sees rookie boss LES keep touch with Len at the top. GU took some breaking down but we did enough with the talented forwards at the club!

This week sees us back in cup action with the two leaders in Group 3 to battle it out. We've rested a couple of key players but still think we should have enough in the locker to continue our good start.

All that anyone who is connected with the mighty SH organization could say after SH's 14 - 14 draw  with NH was simple."Unbelievable!"

This was due to one of the most outstanding 'keeping jobs  by a GK in recent SAEFL memory. T. Howard 1 , NH's all-star GK, put on a goalkeeping display that left SH attackers, totally frustrated time and time again.

SH attackers peppered Howard with 47 shots on goal. Griffith, the big SH winger, had 13 of them. However, SH couldn't manage to get one more goal than NH. SH Manager Lear stated the following," We outplayed NH in all categories of the game. Even our total Emp was considerably more than NH's.

But when you run into a very hot 'keeper who shuts the door on you, there isn't a lot you can do. Give the SH lads credit....they didn't quit. We just kept coming at Howard in waves. But to his credit, he saved the match for NH. To think, SH almost obtained Howard in a deal in the pre-season but negotiations broke down."

This week's match is a cup match which pits SH against TB. Lear wondered,"This match might represent an opportunity to put some of our younger lads on the pitch to get some experience and also to showcase them in the event that some SAEFL club wants to make a deal.

i will give it some thought."

Once again the Selects were unfortunate and wound up losing to an FA team that played a boost. Already in three league games this season, the Selects have seen a boost and a grudge played against them....OUCH!!!!

This second leg of the Cup's first round sees a match against fellow third division team the Blue Storm. Since they won (luckily) their first Cup match and they lead the group, the Selects expect them to play a well rated OL team. To counter this, the Selects intend to play (for the first time I think) in Man to Man coverage. Hopefully this will neutralize the midfield and will allow the Selects to come out on top. We are going to play hopefully enough offense to make it work. Stay tuned kids!!!

After a disturbing week at what has seemed like a haunted house at times,

we managed eventually to get some email systems to work and get our team

orders in. Our defeat last week by those highway robbers at high speed in

their italian job wannabee cars, we enter this week maybe with the

opportunity to get back on track but maybe it gives us the chance to

get our T11 back to full fitness by playing our second string.
